hirecomb vs Poozle (2026): The Swipe Is the Send

On Poozle, the swipe is the send. There is no confirmation screen between the two, and that single design decision is most of this comparison.

Pick Poozle if you want to apply from your phone, for free, without handing over a card, one job at a time, with tracking included. Pick hirecomb if you want a published price and a published cap before you install anything, named ATS coverage, and a résumé rewritten for each posting and checked for invented claims before it goes. What Poozle actually is
A mobile app for iOS and Android. You get a matched feed and swipe to save, pass, or apply, and in Poozle's own words, "one swipe sends your application." That's the product, and it is a real one: the deliberate act of choosing each job is exactly what a background auto-apply queue takes away from you.
The free plan gives you the matched feed, swiping to save, pass or apply, résumé upload, and tracking, with "no card required." Pro is described as "More applications every day. Upgraded matches. Unlimited rewinds. Voice AI."
Notice what isn't there: a number. The free plan's daily application limit isn't published, and Pro's limit is only "more." Poozle indexes "100,000+ live jobs from 6,000+ companies," which is a large pool, but it doesn't name a single ATS.
Neither is the price. Poozle's pricing page says "Plans and prices live in the app." The only figures on the public internet are the App Store in-app purchase entries: Poozle Pro at $12.99, $19.99 and $34.99, with no billing periods labelled. So you can't tell from outside whether $19.99 is a week, a month, or a quarter, or what it buys you in applications.
What hirecomb actually is
A web app plus a Chrome extension. The extension applies inside your own Chrome session: it opens the posting, fills the form from your saved profile and a résumé tailored to that posting, attaches the file, and submits. You can watch it. If a captcha or an unusual form stops it, the tab comes back with every known field filled and you click submit. We never ask for your job-site passwords.
Coverage is Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workday, plus the guest-apply forms careers pages wrap around them. No LinkedIn Easy Apply.
Every new posting is scored against your actual résumé, not a keyword list. Before anything goes out we rewrite that résumé in the posting's own wording, show the ATS keyword score before and after, and run a verification pass that strips invented skills, tools and numbers. You approve every version, or send your original in one click.
Pace is on purpose: a daily cap you set at 10, 20, 25 or 50, and never more than 2 roles at one company in 24 hours, because ATSes reject shotgun applies and you just collect duplicate rejections. Everything sent lands in Applied Jobs with live status and follow-up reminders.
Plans are Basic $50/mo for 750 auto-applies, Pro $100/mo for 1,500, Ultra $150/mo for 3,000, plus a $10/mo Resume Tailor plan with no auto-apply. The trial is Pro, free for seven days with 20 real auto-applies.
Our honest limitation: nothing sends while Chrome is closed.

Where Poozle wins
→ Free, and no card. You can use the matched feed, swipe to apply, upload a résumé and track everything without paying. Our free tier covers browsing and match scoring, but applying is paid.
→ It's a phone product, on both platforms. iOS and Android. We have no mobile app and won't pretend otherwise.
→ One job at a time, chosen by you. Every application in Poozle is a job you looked at and picked. A background queue is faster and less considered.

Who should pick which
Take Poozle if you're job hunting from your phone on a budget, you like reviewing each role yourself, and you want a tracker that costs nothing. Go in knowing that swiping right is the whole submission, and that you learn what Pro costs and allows after you install it.
Take hirecomb if you're an engineer applying through career pages on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby or Workday and you want the applying to happen from your own browser at a pace ATSes accept, with a tailored résumé you approved and a record of everything sent. You'll need to leave Chrome open and pay $50 a month minimum. In exchange you know the price, the cap and the coverage before you start.

Is Poozle worth it?
The free plan is hard to argue with: a matched feed, swipe-to-apply, résumé upload and tracking, no card. Pro is harder to judge from outside, because Poozle publishes neither prices nor application limits on the website. The App Store lists Poozle Pro at $12.99, $19.99 and $34.99 without saying what period each covers, and Pro's benefit is "more applications every day." You find out the real numbers after installing.
Does Poozle actually submit applications?
Yes. Poozle's own wording is "one swipe sends your application," so a swipe right is a submitted application rather than a shortlist. There is no separate confirmation step described anywhere on the site. Poozle doesn't publish which ATSes it submits through or where the submission runs.
What's the difference between hirecomb and Poozle?
