hirecomb vs LoopCV (2026): Recruiter Emails vs Career-Page Applies

LoopCV does something no other tool in the 22 I priced does: it finds the recruiter's email address and sends them a personalised message. A second channel into a company, and a genuinely useful one.
The detail worth knowing is in their own help docs: those emails come out of the same allowance as your applications. Standard is 100 applications or emails a month, not 100 of each. Every recruiter you contact is an application you don't send.

What LoopCV actually is
A cloud service. It "automatically applies on your behalf using AI," and can also "find the email of the recruiter" and send a personalised note. There's a review mode if you'd rather approve things first, and a LinkedIn Apply Extension for applications that need you logged in.
Coverage is board-first: "LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Workday, Greenhouse, and 30+" sources, though the site says 20+ in one place and 30+ in another.
Pricing starts free, forever, no card. Paid plans start "from €9.99/month." The per-tier prices aren't in the page HTML, so I could verify only that entry point.
The caps are documented, and they matter: free Basic is 10 applications in total, Standard 100 a month, Premium 300 a month. Applications and recruiter emails both draw on that number.
What hirecomb actually is
A web app plus a Chrome extension. The extension applies inside your own Chrome session: it opens the posting, fills the form from your profile and a résumé tailored to that posting, attaches the file, submits. You can watch it. If a captcha stops it, the tab comes back with the fields filled for you to submit. We never ask for your job-site passwords.
Coverage is Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and Workday, plus the guest-apply forms careers pages wrap around them. No LinkedIn Easy Apply.
Every new posting is scored against your actual résumé, not keywords. When one clears, the tailoring pass rewrites it in the posting's wording with an ATS score before and after, and a verification pass strips anything the model invented. You approve every version, and everything sent lands in Applied Jobs with status and reminders.
You set the pace: 10, 20, 25, or 50 applies a day, capped at 2 roles per company per rolling 24 hours, because ATSes reject shotgun applies to one employer.
Basic is $50/mo for 750 auto-applies, Pro $100/mo for 1,500, Ultra $150/mo for 3,000. The trial is Pro, free for seven days, with 20 real auto-applies. The honest limitation: nothing sends while Chrome is closed.

Where LoopCV wins

Who should pick which
Pick LoopCV if reach is the problem you're solving. Board coverage plus recruiter outreach from under €10 a month is a lot of surface area for the money, and the free plan lets you test it on ten applications first. Do the arithmetic on the cap: on 100 a month, twenty recruiter emails means eighty applications.
Pick hirecomb if depth per application is the problem. Fewer sends, each scored against your résumé, rewritten for the posting, checked for fabrication, and sent from your own Chrome onto Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, or Workday, with a record of all of it. The trial is Pro for seven days with 20 applies; if it hasn't earned week two, cancel and pay nothing.
